I hand threw a large pie plate and bisque fired it to use as a mold for this scalloped edged conversation piece with a red sun symbol accent. Chocolate slip was painted over white stoneware on the bottom and dipped in archies base glaze to achieve the luscious mocha chocolate milk gradation.
